Hence, to find a solution to the menace, Krishna purposely throws Shridama's ball and dives into the river. He learns about Kaliya Nag, that has poisoned the river by adding its venom. And as they continue to talk about their problems, Shri Krishna overhears their conversation. They feel that they might have to vacate Nanda Gaon and move elsewhere to find a safe shelter. They express sorrow over the death of their cows that had consumed the river water.

Later, villagers tell Nanda Dev about the atrocities committed by Kaliya Nag. She admires his innocence and pampers to comfort him. Krishna narrates how his friends and his elder brother teased him, and his adorable expressions make Yashoda smile. As expected, Shri Krishna gets offended and rushes to Yashoda for help. Balarama also takes a dig at Krishna's dark complexion and irritates him. And Balarama plays a prank on Krishna by saying that he is not Yashoda and Nanda's child and that he has is adopted. Next day, Shridama, one of Shri Krishna's friends, accuses him of cheating during a game and complains to Balarama about it. He makes earnest attempts to calm her, and as expected, she forgives him. Later, Shri Krishna gets caught red-handed by Yashoda, who gets miffed with him for stealing butter. However, when she returns home, she finds Shri Krishna standing at the same spot with his hands tied to the post. She wonders how the child could reach his home before her, as she had tied his hands to a pillar.
